Intro

The Daisy is a simple, small, but powerful board. If you set it up correctly, it can work as an excellent brain for your build.

In this tutorial, we’re going to go what each pad on your Daisy does, the proper way to solder onto it, and some tips and tricks to help save space in your builds.

Anatomy

On the left you’ll see a figure that labels the different pads of your Daisy. All Daises are tested before they’re shipped out which means all the pads are pre-tinned for you. So, all you have to do is solder the wires right on.

Schematic

Use the schematic above to connect your switches, speaker, and power lines to the Daisy. We recommend testing all this on a breadboard. Simply touching wires to pads or not soldering can result in a bricked board.
